Working at a call center certainly has it’s challenges. What kind usually depend on what type of call center you work at. If you work at an inbound call center on 1st shift (the shift where you receive the most calls) you may take 70 to 100 or more calls a day. If you work 3rd shift for the same company you may only get 20 calls.

This is a huge difference and your personality helps determine which one is better for you. If you like constant action, constant calls, easily bored, and are able to work tickets quickly then the main shift is obviously better for you. If you find constant calls too stressful and are not bored easily then the shift with less demand would be better for you.

People who like working in call centers are typicaly customer service oriented, have a ginuine want to help people, are determined to find answers, are patient, like to talk to people, and are able to not take the caller’s complaints personaily.
